Jebaily Awards Scholarships

Paying for college just got a little easier for three area high school seniors, who earned scholarships from Jebaily Law Firm’s first annual scholarship award. The scholarships were awarded based on a written essay, academic achievements and overall performance in school. Each senior received a check for $500.00 to help with college expenses.

In celebration of their achievements, the law firm hosted a luncheon at Redbone Alley on Tuesday, June 23rd. Both the students and their parents were invited to attend. After a pleasant lunch and great conversation, the students were presented with their scholarship check and a basket filled with goodies from their college of choice.

Lindsey Andrews, of West Florence High School, will be attending Clemson University in the fall and majoring in nursing. Melissa Dunphy, of Wilson High school, will also be attending Clemson University and majoring in bio-engineering. Melissa says she would eventually like to pursue a graduate degree in physical therapy. Lastly, Dawnna Bowens, of South Florence High School, will attending college locally at Francis Marion University and major in nursing.
