With 28 years of experience in personal injury law, Kathryn brings extensive knowledge, dedication, and compassion to every client matter. Throughout her career, she has played an integral role in all phases of case management, helping injured clients navigate the legal process from initial consultation through settlement or trial.
Her responsibilities include initial contact with potential clients, conducting client meetings, opening and maintaining case files, drafting correspondence, requesting and reviewing medical records and itemized billing statements, and summarizing complex medical records. Kathryn is experienced in preparing claim letters, communicating with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, complaints, interrogatories, and requests for production, as well as coordinating depositions and mediations.
Kathryn also assists with mediation preparation, drafts settlement statements, negotiates reductions of medical bills and liens, and provides comprehensive trial support, including the preparation of trial notebooks, exhibits, exhibit lists, witness lists, and subpoenas. In addition, she manages firm docketing systems, monitors statutes of limitation through weekly reporting, and maintains detailed monthly case summaries to ensure efficient case progression.
Known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to client service, Kathryn takes pride in helping clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives while supporting attorneys in achieving successful outcomes.
Outside of the office, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Maddie. Whether cheering on her favorite college football teams, the Gamecocks and the Longhorns, or her favorite NLF teams, the Cowboys and the Texans, relaxing at the beach, or exploring the mountains, she appreciates every opportunity to spend time with the people she cares about most.
