Attorney Kayla Jebaily Adams recently volunteered at a Wills and Healthcare Power of Attorney Clinic hosted by the South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program in Bennettsville. The event took place on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Marian Wright Edelman Public Library and provided essential legal services to residents of Marlboro County. Over the course of the day, Kayla joined six other attorneys from across the Pee Dee region to assist 30 community members with preparing wills and healthcare power of attorney documents.
Her participation in the clinic reflects a strong commitment to expanding access to legal services in rural communities. The event was made possible through partnerships with Marlboro County, the Joseph F. Rice School of Law, the Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation, and the staff at the public library, all of whom played a role in supporting the clinic’s success.
