“Painters’ Palettes” Annual Exhibition & Art Sale

The Pawleys Island Art Gallery will present “Painters’ Palettes,” the annual exhibition of artwork by members of the Georgetown County Watercolor Society. The exhibition will open on August 1 and continue through August 30, 2025. A reception will be held at the gallery on August 8, from 5-7:00 pm. This is the 37th year for the annual event, which will be judged by award-winning Charleston artist, Carolyn Epperly. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday. The hours are Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays. Exhibition artwork is for sale. The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Painters’ Palettes,” which leaves a wide range for interpretation. The group is expecting to have around 40 entries, as its membership continues to grow. The Society membership includes watercolor, acrylic, and gouache media.
