Do I have a claim as a pedestrian if I was hit while I was not in a crosswalk? The short answer is, you need to talk to a lawyer because everything is fact-dependent. Facts change everything so it's hard to give a blanket answer for that. However, you know, if you are injured as a pedestrian as a result of an automobile collision, you very well might have a claim even if you weren't in a crosswalk. The number one most important thing to do would be to talk to a lawyer and have them provide advice to you on how to best pursue this potential claim you have.
