So, if I hire an attorney and I've completed my accident-related treatment, what is the next process, what happens, how long does that take? That's a really good question and of course, everything is dependent upon those circumstances and that's a question I get asked a lot. When someone comes in to see me, often times, the question that's asked is 'well, how long will my case take?' And my answer is pretty similar, I say well how long will it take until you've completed your treatment and they go 'Well, I don't know, I just got hurt a week ago and the doctor has me getting pain management and I'm getting injections and you know, I have to go to therapy and they're going to evaluate me for an MRI in two weeks, I don't know how long it'll take.' And my response is well if you don't know how long it's going to take for you to get well, how can I know how long it's going to take for your case to go on because we make sure their medical treatment is successful and then we'll make sure that the legal part of it gets handled the way it needs to be and it always depends upon the circumstances and I would love to be able to say there's a one size fits all answer to it but there's not and anybody that tells you there is a one size fits all is not really being candid with you. And you want to hire a lawyer that's going to be honest and straightforward with you. But we pride ourselves on moving matters, once they're ready, depending upon each case, once that individual has reached their maximum medical improvement and they're ready to have their case resolved, we pride ourselves on being able to get the matter resolved in a very expeditious, timely manner.
