SUMMARY:"Painters' Palettes" Annual Exhibition & Art Sale
DESCRIPTION:The Pawleys Island Art Gallery will present “Painters’ Palettes\,” the annual exhibition of artwork by members of the Georgetown County Watercolor Society. The exhibition will open on August 1 and continue through August 30\, 2025. A reception will be held at the gallery on August 8\, from 5-7:00 pm. This is the 37th year for the annual event\, which will be judged by award-winning Charleston artist\, Carolyn Epperly. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday. The hours are Tuesday – Friday\, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm\, and 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays. Exhibition artwork is for sale. The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Painters’ Palettes\,” which leaves a wide range for interpretation. The group is expecting to have around 40 entries\, as its membership continues to grow. The Society membership includes watercolor\, acrylic\, and gouache media.
