DESCRIPTION:Florence After 5 is Downtown Florence’s favorite award-winning block party. Held the final Friday of each month from May to September\, the Florence Downtown Development Corp. hosts a free concert in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street between Evans and Cheves Streets in Historic Downtown. In 2023\, Florence After Five was awarded “Best Local Attraction” and “Best Outdoor Event” by the readership of the Morning News and SCNow! \nThe events run from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. and the band takes the stage at 6:00 p.m. Food and beverages are available at the event. All food and beverage sales are made via tickets\, which can be purchased at our ticket booth located near the Florence County Museum. Just look for the big ticket flag! Tickets are $1.00 each. Both cash and cards are accepted. \nConvenient event parking is available in the free City of Florence Parking Garage accessed via 150 S. Irby Street or in any of the available on-street spaces on W. Evans and N. Dargan Street\, the SC DHEC parking lot\, or the BTC parking lot. \nRestrooms are located in the James Allen Plaza. \n2023 Band Line-up \nFriday\, August 25 – Chocolate Chip & Company Band \nFriday\, September 29 – Rivermist
