Gather together for the revelry starting at 4 p.m. with balloon characters and stiltwalkers in Plyler Park followed by caroling from Carolina Master Chorale at 5:30 p.m. Then\, get ready to light up the night with the official tree lighting\, snow flurries and an appearance by Santa Claus at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and coffee as well as free parking downtown at city-metered spaces.
