Taught by Professor Julie Mixon\, guests will have the opportunity to capture a portrait using a large-format camera similar to what Cecil Williams used and learn how to augment a camera’s shutter speed on a digital device to create light paintings. This workshop is inspired by the photography seen in Unforgettable: The Civil Rights Photography of Cecil Williams. A one-hour lunch break will be provided. DESCRIPTION:The events run from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. and the band takes the stage at 6:00 p.m. Food and beverages are available at the event. All food and beverage sales are made via tickets\, which can be purchased at our ticket booth located near the Florence County Museum. Just look for the big ticket flag! Tickets are $1.00 each. Both cash and cards are accepted. \nConvenient event parking is available in the free City of Florence Parking Garage accessed via 150 S. Irby Street or in any of the available on-street spaces on W.
